NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course

This is a certifed National Rifle Association course that teaches the basic knowledge, skills, attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate. This course does not include the material to certify you to receive your Ohio Concealed Handgun License. This course is best suited for the entire family who is interested in attaining an educational experience in safe, recreational target and competitive handgun shooting.
